Swedtel strenghtens its management and secures a new majority owner
Swedtel has been active globally in telecom management and consultancy for 35 years and has completed over 500 projects. As of Feb 15, 2007, it has further strengthened its management and finances through a new majority owner.
Per Dahl has been appointed CEO. He has a vast professional experience of the industry and has previously been CEO for Telia International AB and Telenor AB.
Through the 100% privately owned Förvaltnings AB Bronsstädet, Peter Gyllenhammar has assumed the majority ownership.
Swedtel Swedtel is one the most established international consultancies active in telecom management, and has for decades been engaged by both government and privately owned telecom operators. Clients include TeliaSonera, Ericsson, Omantel Mobile, Lietuvos Telekomas, TOT (Thailand) and Suntel (Sri Lanka). Swedtel engages consultants all over the world securing relevant experience, knowledge and geographic presence for every project. Through its network, Swedtel can approach over 3 000 consultants over the world. At present, there are over 100 consultants engaged in various international projects, through the parent company or through itssubsidiaries in Colombia, Dubai and Malaysia.
It is Swedtel's intention to broaden its offering with financial advisory services such as asset financings and equity financings, including advisory services for IPOs and/or privatizations.
The global telecommunication market develops strongly. It is Swedtel’s intention to facilitate and accelerate growth.
Bronsstädet is a diversified privately held investment company who for the financial year 2005/06 recorded a net profit of 119 MSEK (17 MUSD)
