Transformation of Omantel in Oman
Swedtel is working closely with Omantel in Oman with the primary goal of making the national operator become a world-class telecommunications operator in the region.

This is being done in parallel with enhancing customer, employee and community satisfaction, while improving business growth, profitability levels and maximizing enterprise and shareholder value.
The project can be broadly divided into two phases, the first of which was the delivery in spring 2004 of a report detailing a
diagnosis (current situation and strategic direction), design
(develop new business and operating model) and planning (action plan for change and
implementation).
